I want to champion the cause for middle-class Americans locally and nationally; our brave veterans, police officers, firefighters, schoolteachers, and those often forgotten by career politicians. I am a proud American of Mexican descent, born and raised in the great state of Texas. I am a third-generation immigrant on my mother’s side and a fourth-generation immigrant on my father’s side. We are a diverse family; my parents are Republicans and most of my extended family are Democrats. I grew up listening to my father’s stories of his youth and my mother’s stories of the hard-working entrepreneur my grandfather was, which instilled in me the foundation of my conservative values.
I have great admiration for those that have made an impact on this world and our country: President Abraham Lincoln, President John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Theresa, President Ronald Reagan, and President Donald J. Trump. I believe that these champions gave of themselves against all odds, never accepting the status quo. Fighting for the rights of all people, three of these brave champions were assassinated for their beliefs. The beliefs that all men and women are created by one God free and equal with inalienable rights, free from social injustice, and with the freedom of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. My father has always told us that one person can make a difference in this world, that we should always strive to do the right thing and give it our best in all that we do in our lives.
I believe in this great nation of Ours, the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, the Fifth Amendment, legal immigration, and the right to life from conception to birth. I believe in capitalism, equal pay, Medicare for the elderly and disabled, freedom of choice for healthcare, and freedom of choice for education. I strongly stand against socialism, communism, and endless wars. I love the United States with unwavering passion and my platform is one that seeks to keep America the strong, prosperous, free country that our founders intended. I vow to fight for the rights of all and I will honor the constitution of the United States of America.
What could possibly be more important than Life in this world?
