Jenny Garcia Sharon was born and raised in Houston, Texas. A daughter of a Marine and a loving mother she grew up in a very modest home. She learned at an early age what matters the most in life are not those of material possessions but that of love and family. Jenny grew up as a Catholic and has relied heavily on her Christian faith to help her guide her through the difficult times.
At an early age Jenny learned that she was blessed with a servant’s heart. From the time she was a small child she would fight for those who were not able to fight for themselves. As she listened and learned she grew confident in knowing that it was possible for one person, even a quiet reserved person, to make a difference. Jenny as a teenager took on the responsibility to care for her mother and experienced firsthand the disfunction of our government run agencies. Despite the many hurdles she has encountered her perseverance and resilience has never faltered. Through adversity Jenny has grown stronger.
A fighter is who Jenny has always been. A survivor is who Jenny has become. Jenny is all too familiar with what it is like to be without, to deal with Government agencies, to deal with healthcare, to deal with a life-threatening illness and has overcome it all. She was born with a servant’s heart and even when she was dealing with her own illness, she never stopped fighting for those who could not fight for themselves. Over the years Jenny has volunteered her time to help those in her community through her work with various organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Elf Louise, Local Food Banks, and the United Way. Jenny also has volunteered her time as a Board Member of one of the largest Republican clubs in Austin and is a founding member of a newly created local Republican club.
Jenny is a proud graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Minor in Psychology. She was the first college graduate of her immediate family. Prior to introducing herself to Texas voters in the 2020 general election, her career was focused primarily in the financial industry.
Jenny is willing to put in the hard work for Texans and promote Texas values at the national level in Washington D.C. She has learned a great deal in her previous campaigns where she was successful in being selected by Texas voters as the Republican nominee in the past three consecutive election cycles.
Jenny is a proud wife and mother who will stand strong and bold for the protection of life in the womb, parental rights, and the future of our children. Jenny has the tenacity it takes to make a difference and the strength to fight for what is right and just.
